In partnership with an Indian engineering company

We provide our industrial noise control solutions together with a partner company in India that specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial acoustic silencers and related products. Hela Innovations is your contact in Sri Lanka for enquiries, technical discussion, quotations, orders and after-sales follow-up. Our partner carries out the engineering design, fabrication, inspection and factory testing.

How an acoustic enclosure works

An acoustic enclosure contains the noise of compressors, blowers, generator sets and other machinery while keeping the equipment cool and easy to maintain.

  1. Block. Sealed, heavy steel panels stop sound escaping from the machine.
  2. Absorb. A mineral-wool lining behind perforated sheet removes sound energy inside the enclosure.
  3. Ventilate. Silenced inlet and outlet openings pass cooling air while attenuating noise.

The noise reduction target is set for each project, in dB(A) at a stated distance.

Applications

Where noise control is needed in Sri Lanka

From factory floors to hotels and telecom sites, we help keep noisy equipment within the limits that apply at the site boundary.

Garment and textile plants

Air compressors, boilers and standby sets on dense factory floors.

Hotels, hospitals and offices

Standby diesel generators close to guests, patients and staff.

Tea, rubber and coconut mills

Blowers, dryers and fans running near estate villages.

Cement and ceramics

Large fans, mills and compressors in heavy-industry plants.

Ports and utilities

Pump stations, power packs and compressors at harbour and water sites.

Telecom and data sites

Gensets and cooling plant beside towers and urban buildings.

Noise limits in Sri Lanka come from the National Environmental (Noise Control) Regulations, enforced by the Central Environmental Authority. We size each silencer or enclosure to the limit that applies at your site boundary.

Project delivery

From design to a tested, documented product

Together with our partner company in India, we handle the complete project. Hela Innovations stays your single point of contact from the first enquiry to delivery.

  1. Engineering design. Acoustic and mechanical design to your duty, interfaces and noise target.
  2. Procurement. Selection and procurement of materials and consumables.
  3. Fabrication. Manufacture of the silencer, enclosure or perforated components.
  4. Third-party inspection. Independent inspection where your project requires it.
  5. Factory acceptance testing (FAT). The assembled product is tested before dispatch.
  6. Documentation and delivery. Complete project documentation, export documentation from India, and delivery to your site in Sri Lanka.

What we need from you

Send us as much of the following as you have. We will propose a design and a quotation, and ask for anything missing.

  • Equipment and application (e.g. steam vent, compressor intake, generator exhaust)
  • Fluid or gas, mass or volume flow, pressure and temperature
  • Connection or duct sizes, orientation and available space
  • Allowable pressure loss or backpressure
  • Noise target in dB(A) at a stated distance, or the limit at your site boundary
  • Existing noise measurements, drawings or photographs, if available

Have a noise problem at your plant?

Tell us about the equipment and your noise limit. We reply by email, phone or WhatsApp.
